As with most, I find making resolutions each year a simple task. Keeping them is the proverbial "another story." Perhaps my resolutions this year, though, will be easier to sustain now that the book is published. For 2007:
- Do everything possible to engage patients and professionals in seeking further understanding of both the lows as well as the highs of faulty glucose metabolism.
- Evolve this beginning site into a substantial and frequently visited place where people go to share their experiences and lessons-learned with others.
- Focus more closely on my own tracking. I know what to do when my glucose levels are not within target range. What I really want to learn is how to predict the levels with more accuracy based on diet, exercise and other factors.
- First achieve and then exceed the recommended guidelines for weight loss and exercise proven to keep Type 2 levels under control.
